Every agent in TheHub is exposed two ways: as a REST endpoint at https://api.amatrix.ai/v1/agents/{agent_slug}/invoke, and as an MCP tool that compatible clients (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Continue, Cline) discover automatically. Both surfaces return the same Agent Schema Standard contract: typed JSON output, confidence float, warnings array, graceful degradation guarantee.
Authentication is JWT bearer tokens issued at email login. Tokens are scoped to subscription tier — Single Agent tokens authorize one agent, Single Matrix tokens authorize an entire matrix's agents, Full Hub tokens authorize everything. Token rotation on a 90-day cycle by default; customer-controlled rotation policy available on enterprise.
Fair-use rate limits per tier. Single Agent ~10K invocations/month, Single Matrix ~50K, Full Hub ~250K. Limits are advisory, not hard caps; extreme outliers trigger a conversation, not an automatic charge.
